  • Flat Washer

    A flat round washer is used to distribute load.

  • Spring Washer
    The most common style of washer used to prevent nuts and bolts from backing out.
  • Square Washer
    A square shaped washer.
  • Fibre Washer
    A flat round washer made from vulcanised fibre.  They are red in colour.
  • Nylon Washer
    A flat round washer made from nylon.  They are white or black in colour.
  • Internal Toothlock / Star Washer
    A washer with internal 'teeth'. Used to prevent nuts and bolts from backing out.
  • External Toothlock / Star Washer

    A washer with external 'teeth'. Used to prevent nuts and bolts from backing out.

  • Belleville Washer
    A Belleville washer, also known as a coned-disc spring, conical spring washer, disc spring, Belleville spring or cupped spring washer, is a type of spring shaped like a washer. It has a frusto-conical shape which gives the washer a spring characteristic.
  • Nordlock Washer

    Nord-Lock washers secure bolted joints with tension instead of friction. The system is comprised of a pair of washers that has cams on one side and radial teeth on the opposite side. Since the cam angle ‘α’ is greater than the thread pitch ‘β’ a wedge effect is created by the cams, preventing the bolt from rotating loose.

  • Schnorr Washer
    The Schnorr safety washers is a disc spring which is serrated on both sides and of trapezoidal cross section. The serrations lock the washers positively resisting vibration.
  • Cup Washer
    A washer used to obtain a 'finished' look. Usually used with oval head screws.
