Metric Bolts

A heavy duty high tensile 8.8 grade bolt assembly comprising a high strength bolt, a structural nut (deeper than standard) and through hardened washer, manufactured to Australian standard 1252 and hot dipped galvanised for maximum corrosion protection. Suitable for structural high strength bolting of steel and timber components in construction and engineering.

Zinc plating provides a moderate corrosion resistance suitable for indoors or otherwise dry conditions. Colour is either a blue-ish tint or yellow depending on the exact process utilised during manufacture.

An 'as produced' black finish on carbon steel products having an oil residue which provides some shelf life but no real corrosion protection when in use.
